  I went here because I needed a root canal (according to another dentist) and also wanted to see if invisilign would help my teeth. On consultation, I was told I didn't need a root canal, just a cap and that invisilign would work just fine for me. I then set aside the max amount of $3500 for my flex spending at work.
  
  I got a porcelain cap and then was coming in for fittings for the invisilign. Getting the cap was quite stressful. I had told them on several occasion my dentist fears and they said they would semi sedate me with gas so it wasn't so bad, but they never did eve after several appts.
  
  I had a work emergency when I arrived at one of my appointments. I went in and told them I had to cancel due to this. I made another appt and left. I came back 3 weeks or so later for the next appt, I believe it was for a cleaning and was told upon arrival that because I canceled my last appt without regard for the doctor's time, that I would now have to pay all fees up front. I said that I always pay (my portion after insurance) up front and I was told that now I will have to pay even the insurance portion of the bill up front and that they will reimburse me afterwards. I told them I had never heard of such a thing and she stood stern on her position. I decided after dealing with her passive aggressive temperament that this was not going to work for me and I left with no further treatments.
  
  I chose an orthodontists for my invisilign and I wasn't in his chair for more than 3 minutes when he told me that there is no way that invisilign would work for my mouth. My only option now, at age 38 and in outside sales, was to have braces. So now I am faced with having braces at my age while trying to make a living in outside sales or loosing the money I had set aside in my flex spending account.
  
  I ended up letting the money go in the FSA and just moved on with life...or so I thought...until several months later when I got a bill for $900 from Ron Smiths office. (of course it was right after my FSA had expired..which his office knew) I called and told them it must be a mistake because I always paid anything insurance didn't cover at the time of service. I was informed that this bill was for money over and above what the insurance company paid. Meaning that they had agreed to charge certain prices for their services as part of being included on my insurance companies provider list but since I was not longer going to them, they had now decided to charge me the additional amount!
  
  I called my insurance company and asked how they could do this and the insurance company told us they couldn't prevent them from doing it. So my option was to pay the bill or be put into collections.
  
  Now it is 3 years later and that tooth that Ron Smith told me I didn't need a root canal on is extremely sensitive...thru the cap so I'm guessing the expensive porcelain cap will have to be removed and I will have to have a root canal.

  I have been going for some years at Dr Smith's office. Lately looks like he needs to go better with time and update his office Which surprised me the most is that, all the time I go there, I see the new dental assistant. I told them: Is that so hard that nobody wants to work here with you? Nobody gave me the answer, but I already knew. Anyway, hopeful my last dental work will be ok.
